Volunteer abroadEuropean Solidarity Corps is an international volunteer program funded by the European Commission. It enables young people legally resident in EU, aged between 18 and 30 years,
to carry out an international volunteer service in another European country for a period from 2 to 12 months. The program fully covers the costs of food, accommodation, travel, insurance and provides pocket money. Casa da Horta has long-year experience in hosting and sending volunteers through EU programs. To find out about our current openings, or to ask us any other (related! :) ) question, write us a message to [email protected] You can also have a look at stories of our awesome former Volunteers. |
Participate in an international youth exchangeYouth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together and work on shared projects for short periods of time (few days-two weeks). Youth exchanges use non nformal learning activities, including workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, outdoor activities and more.
Casa da Horta frequently coordinates youth exchanges on various environmental and cultural topics, hosted in different countries. If you are a Portuguese resident aged 13-30, who is interested in traveling to another country to meet and exchange ideas with other young people, this option should be for you!
